A rare early English silver flat top lidded tankard in sterling silver with a scroll handle having a decorative thumb piece. To the front is a crisp armorial engraved in the style of that period. An excellent example of early hand beaten silver with lots of character. Weight 652 grams, 20.9 troy ounces. Height 15.5 cms. London 1680.
