    A stylish pair of art deco silver candelabra with 3 lights. Excellent plain style with geometric shaped bases inlaid with ivory and ebony. The branches unscrew but the columns cannot be used as candlesticks. Height 41 cms, spread 28 cms. The weight of the branches is 991 grams, 31.8 troy ounces, the bases are filled and therefore cannot be weighed. French silver stamps. Circa 1930.

    Very large and imposing. A rare antique sterling silver table salt cellar. A 1908 copy of a The Beeston Salt*. The domed and steeple top lid is removable and underneath, sitting on the tall cylindrical base, is the detachable salt holder. Weight 1166 grams, 37.4 troy ounces.     A vintage silver plated cocktail shaker in the shape of a bell. The handle unscrews to pour in the ingredients and the top pulls off to pour out the cocktail through the strainer grill. Circa 1930. Maker Asprey and stamped underneath with patent and registration numbers.

    6843 Antique Silver Bird

    An attractive model silver bird with detachable head and glass eyes. Inside there is a silver grill so that the bird can be used as a shaker (possibly for sugar). Beautifully modelled, the bird has very realistic plumage, the wings are applied separately but do not open. Stamped on the head and rim with Dutch silver stamps for 1919.

    7860 Vintage Silver and Crystal Locking Decanter

    An attractive crystal decanter and stopper with lock and key. The body is half thumbnail cut, half plain and has star cut base. The neck has a sterling silver collar with a padlock attached. There is a hinged retaining clip which secures the glass stopper in position – the two ends of the clip fit side by side around the little bracket on the decanter neck so that the padlock can slot through the 3 holes (see photo). Just turn the key to lock or unlock the padlock. Height 24.5 cms. Base 9 x 9 cms square. London 1931. Maker Walter Groves.

    A collectors item. An unusual version of the “The Master Incolor Cocktail Shaker” without the revolving recipe top. This is the black and ivory coloured example from the master incolor series of art deco cocktail shakers made from bakelite and silver plate. With internal strainer and pourer with a little spoutcap. The top cup also serves as a drinks measure. Height 29 cms. Marked “Made in England. Patent pending. Patent no. 4277237”.
