    A large and substantial figure of a silver rider on horseback. Excellent quality and heavy gauge. Original gilt finish and jewelling to the clothing and horse harness. Natural stone base. The model is very intricate with many separate pieces assembled together. The head is removable. Weight 1180 grams, 37.9 troy ounces. This weight excludes the onyx base and the two silver hallmarked screw caps. It includes the weight of the two screws soldered to the bottom of the back hooves. Height 28 cm (from base to top of head). Base height 3 cm, length 24 cm, width 13 cm. Marked on the head, harness and horse tail with London import marks for 1896, maker Edwin Thompson Bryant.

    A fantastic show. A solid oak 3 bottle drinks tantalus with silver plated mounts. This unusual model has a pull out drawer at the base to access the 3 hobnail cut bottles. Height 39 cms (to top of handle) 29 cms (to top of frame). Base 39 x 13 cms. Bottle height 23 cms, base 8.75 cms Circa 1900.

    An antique silver model of a windmill mounted on a wine cup. Hand engraved. Beautifully constructed with multiple moving parts. The windmill house is reached by a staircase with two sculptured figures climbing up, on one side there is a man peeping out of a small window. The revolving windmill sails connect to the clock hands on the other side and both move together. The roof is mounted with a revolving flag, a tiny bird and a sculptured finial. There is a horn which is non-functional. Weight 203 grams, 6.5 troy ounces. Height 22.5 cm. Diameter of cup 8.5 cm. Fully stamped with Dutch silver marks fpr Amsterdam. Circa 1890.

    A tall and impressive antique silver altar candlestick made from thick sheets of decorated silver mounted on the front and sides sections of a carved softwood stand. This was originally a pricket candlestick and has since been electrified (not wired). Height 77.5 cms. Base 20 x 13 cms. Belgian silver marks for Brussels, Belgium. Maker Pierre Hendrickx.     Possibly of military interest. A rare barrel shaped antique silver vinaigrette with combination scent bottle and pill box. The vinaigrette has a pretty pierced gilt grill. The quality of this piece is exceptional; the scent flask having a screw lid with integral carrying chain, the two boxes retain their original bright gilt interior. Weight 58 grams, 1.8 troy ounce.     A fine antique sterling silver wine ewer of tall elegant vase form standing on a ribbed pedestal foot. The body is finely engraved with bands of leaves and scrolls. A very nice feature is the little model bird at the base of the handle. The lid and interior of the jug is gilded and has a free form pouring mechanism. Weight 834 grams, 26.8 troy ounces.     An excellent quality antique scent bottle with a decorative silver mount. The hinged top has a hand engraved design with flowers, leaves and dot scroll work. The oval shaped body is made of multi faceted crystal and typically of the period, has a rounded base which was made to lie down. Traces of the original gilt finish. H 11.2 cms. Width 4 cms. Stamped on the mount and top with very small French silver marks, circa 1860.

    An antique seal with white hard stone handle and solid gold mount. The carved intaglio has an armorial, a horse crest over a crown, and the motto “Con Fide”. The stone handle could be white jade or quartz cabouchon. The intaglio is a creamier white colour and may be rock crystal. Length 6.7 cms. Unmarked gold (15 or 18 carat). French. Circa 1840.
