    A handsome antique silver coffee pot with a plain baluster shape raised on a pedestal foot. The quality of this piece is excellent and the most imposing feature is the graceful curved spout in the form of a horse’s head. Every attention has been paid to detail with broad decorative borders, applied mounts to the ends of the handle and base of the spout, and a large bird finial. Engraved on the base with an initial. Weight 950 grams, 30.5 troy ounces. Contains 1400 ml. Height 36 cms. Spread across spout and handle 23.5 cms. Marked with silver stamps for Naples silver grade 834. Makers mark RP for Raffaele Parascandolo. Circa 1850.

    A magnificent pair of antique silver plated salts cast in the form of Neptune and his wife Amphitrite both riding on dolphins. Large size and excellent quality. Each figure is carrying a raised shell which forms the salt container (gilded inside). Heavy weight. The rocky design bases are encrusted with shells and other marine foliage and within the decoration each has a silver plate stamp. Circa 1860. Probably by Richard Hodd & William Linley.
