  A fine antique sterling silver serving dish and cover with a turned wood carrying handle and central divider. Excellent quality and good gauge silver as you’d expect from this world famous English silversmith. Elegant plain styling with shaped shell and scroll borders. The lid has a magnificent hand engraved armorial within a scroll cartouche and the base and central divider ring bear a double crest. The decorative lid handle is removable to use the lid as a serving dish. The double skinned base is a warming jacket and the handle unscrews to fill it with hot water.   A fine antique sterling silver coffee pot and matching stand by the world famous Paul Storr. Fantastic quality. The bamboo style ivory handle mounted with a silver serpent to the top and a snake’s head and motif to the bottom are very characteristic of this prestigious English master silversmith. There is a hand engraved crest to the front of the pot and also the reservoir and wick holder. Contains 1320 ml. Weight 1536 grams, 49.3 troy ounces. Total height 26 cms. Hand engraved to one side of the platter with a family crest. The mazarine is designed to be used on top of an oval platter so that the decorative piercing would allow the juices to drain onto the platter below. Weight 1919 grams, 61.7 troy ounces.   Of racing interest. A magnificent antique silver gilt wine cooler by the world famous English silversmith Paul Storr. Elegant classical style with Campana urn form; the twin handles mounted with Bacchanalian face masks. The lift off cover has a finial in the form of a wrythen fluted flower seed with petal surround. Embossed to the front in low relief is a charming scene of horses relaxing and socialising. The reverse has an applied laurel wreath containing an engraved inscription for Newcastle Upon Tyne Stewards 1817. Weight 3718 grams, 119 troy ounces. Height 38cm. London 1809.
