    An excellent plain styled silver* tray with geometric shape and having a simple reed border and carrying handles. This is a very pretty example of Georgian elegance. A particularly charming feature on the reverse side of the handles are the little shell mounts. The back of the tray has the original tinned copper. Spread 56 cm. Length 46 cm. Width 35 cm. This elegant silver table centre comprises an oval stand, decorated with leaves and swags, to which the 4 side arms are attached. A useful feature is that the oval centre can be used on its own, or with a combination of 1,2 ,3 or all 4 arms.The weight of silver is 2095 grams, 67.3 troy ounces. Probably Indian.

    A very fine antique silver basket of rectangular form with swing handle and pierced silver foot. Excellent quality and weight as you’d expect from this highly desirable maker. The openwork vine borders are among the most distinctive and accomplished achievements of Benjamin Smith and similar to those of Paul Storr, not surprisingly as both firms manufactured almost entirely for Rundell and Bridge at this time.
