    A handsome antique sterling silver pedestal bowl of circular form with half ribbed body and egg and dart border. Excellent quality and heavy gauge silver. This form is very similar to the Warwick Vase shape. The cast wrythen side carrying handles are embellished with vine leaf and grape ornament making it, together with its weight and campana form, very suitable for use as a small size wine cooler. Hand engraved to the front is an armorial within a shield, and to the reverse there is a crest of a leopard. Weight 1646 grams, 52.9 troy ounces. Height 19.5 cms. Diameter 19.5 cms. Spread 29.5 cms.     An antique gilt silver bowl of large size and exceptionally heavy weight; this excellent quality is just as you’d expect from a master silversmith trained by the world famous Paul Storr. Raised on a pedestal foot and having hinged lions mask side handles, this oval wine cooler takes two bottles. The deep relief applied decoration is covered in grape and vine leaf ornament, the centre ovals have a Bacchanalian scene with cherubs, a goat and an impish Bacchus, to either side there is a large bird and dolphin. Weight 4218 grams, 135.6 troy ounces. Top 31 x 23.5cm. Height 18cm. London 1816. Maker John Houle, freeman of the Vintners’ Company. Sterling silver.

    A fine and substantial pair of antique sterling silver serving dishes, large size, and suitable for use as jardinieres. Classical Georgian plain design with rectangular shape and half ribbed body. The applied lions mask mounts and paw feet are of excellent quality. Each has, to the front and back, a large hand engraved armorial supported by a lion and griffin. The motto “Sic Donec” means “So Until”. Total weight 2249 grams, 72.3 troy ounces.     A spectacular antique silver centrepiece and candelabra, the tall column and arms formed as a grapevine with entwined branches supporting vine leaves and bunches of grapes. The cut crystal bowl and the candle nozzles are all detachable. This decorative item is perfect for fruit, flowers and sweets. Engraved to the base with a presentation inscription from H.G Mytton of Cleobury North. Dismantles into 3 pieces by unscrewing the bowl holder at the top. Weight 2755 grams, 88.6 troy ounces.     A very rare and prestigious item. This magnificent gilt silver armada jug and stand was presented in honour of the Guildhall banquet for the Prince and Princess of Wales’s return from India. The tall jug, of vase shape form, has bands of classical motifs and ribbing, the centre with deep relief swags of ribbons and fruit with centre medallions. This superb decoration is repeated on the matching base which has a raised central dome decorated with the Prince of Wales feathers. The front of the basin has a large presentation inscription dated 1876. Weight – ewer 908 grams, basin 1258 grams, total 2166 grams, 69.6 troy ounces. Jug – height36cm, spread 14cm.     An excellent quality antique silver vase modelled after the famous Roman antiquity discovered at Tivoli during the 18th century. Heavy gauge silver and exquisite detail. Small size. Of typical campana form with entwined vine handles, the vase is applied with Bacchanalian heads and flaming torches, below which there is a lion’s head and paws to front and back on a background of hand executeded lion’s “fur”.     A good quality antique silver bowl having 6 decorated panels and a blank cartouche to the front. The embossed panels are covered with characterful scenes depicting Jakarta scenes, an elephant and sage vindura-pandita, figures pulled in a horse drawn chariot, a figure asleep in a tree, a water carrier pursued by a Chinthe, figures pouring tea in front of buildings, each reserved in strapwork with foliate scrolls and vignettes infilled with devas (celestial sprites).
