A beautiful antique Bohemian glass vase with engraved panels around the body with architectural scenes. The front panel contains the figure of a Greek deity and there are names etched below the panels. The silver lid is mounted with an entwined serpent and an inset piece of mother of pearl. Height 15.5 cms. Diameter of top 7.5 cms. The lid is marked on the edge with “TF”. Austro Hungarian. Circa 1880.

With 2 decorative leaf plates, a beautifully shaped and decorative handle and a pedestal base embossed with flowers. Weight 1422 grams, 45.7 troy ounces. A magnificent antique sterling silver dumb waiter standing tall with a decorative column mounted with 2 graduated serving plates. Excellent heavy quality and attention to detail as you’d expect from this top quality silver company. The pierced dishes have a broad, peacock tail decorated border which mingles with the inner gothic design. The column is monumental, superbly decorated, and finishes at the base with four protruding lions masks. The heavy circular base repeats the above theme and also has four lions head masks. Weight 2406 grams, 77.3 troy ounces. Height 45cm. Diameter of plates 23/28cm. Every piece marked London 1845. Maker Robert Garrard, appointed crown jewellers to Queen Victoria.

Of colonial interest. A delightful antique silver teapot with embossed decoration all over of a hunting scene. With a snake handle and coiled snake finger rest (to assist pouring) on top. The decoration is very charming with the palm tree forest inhabited by elephants, lions, rabbits, a boy with a spear and a deity with wings. Contains 750 ml. Weight 515 grams, 16.5 troy ounces. Height 12 (to top of snake). Spread 25 cms. Unmarked silver. Indian, probably Kutch. Circa 1900.

The base has a shaped band of embossed gadroon decoration and the feet are in the form of gush of water ejected from the dophin’s mouth. On top there is a fine quality cut glass bowl. Decorated to the main body and lid with typical Stuart period decoration, it has large embossed and engraved flowers, a lion to one side and a unicorn to the other. Excellent quality and crisp definition on the Corinthian top. The cut crystal oil reservoir has a screw fitting to the column and the top still retains the original mount, marked Hinks patent, for the oil burner fitting (not supplied). A rare form of this highly collectible item modelled as a lady with a crinoline dress with a beautifully engraved skirt. However, to the other side the figure has the face of a man. The cup is hinged with long arms which swivels so that the top half rotates under which there is a second small cup. This can then be used as a traditional marriage cup. Weight 54 grams, 1.7 troy ounces. Height 7 cms. Diameter of base cup 4 cms. Spread when open 10.5 cms. Marked around the base with a Dutch control mark. Circa 1900.

A large antique Tibetan or Nepalese silver teapot with a domed lid, originally attached with a chain, and matching teapot stand. Very heavy gauge silver. Interesting style combining both Indian and Chinese influences. The handle is modelled as a dragon’s head with a curved neck and scales, the spout has animal decoration, the body has traces of an engraved or embossed decoration. The teapot has an unusual base formation (see photos) which sits onto an elaborate matching stand. The lid and teapot stand both have a decorative circular motif. Contains 1400 ml.
