    An antique silver hanging lamp with chains from Corfu in Greece. The body is very decorative with embossed leaf motifs. Weight 247 grams, 7.9 troy ounces. Height 20.5 cms. Hanging height 53.5 cms. Both the top and bottom are stamped with Greek silver marks for Corfu, Ionian Islands. Circa 1850.

The bottles are the original Bristol blue cut glass. The salt cellar has a hinged cover, the pepperette has the standard lift off top. Weight of stand 97 grams (without bottles), 3.1 troy ounces. Part gilded, the lid is mounted with cast figural rams and has a concealed hinge; the ornamental curved handle finishes with a putti at the base.     7060 Pair of Antique Silver Plated Figural Salts in the Cellini Style

    A magnificent pair of antique silver plated salts cast in the form of Neptune and his wife Amphitrite both riding on dolphins. Large size and excellent quality. Each figure is carrying a raised shell which forms the salt container (gilded inside). Heavy weight. The rocky design bases are encrusted with shells and other marine foliage and within the decoration each has a silver plate stamp. Circa 1860. Probably by Richard Hodd & William Linley.

The oval shaped body is made of multi faceted rock crystal and typically of the period, has a rounded base which was made to lie down. Bottle height 10 cms. Width 4.25 cms. Stamped on the mount with a small Dutch gold mark, circa 1860.

    A rare antique silver chalice of plain form, the stem and underbody having an unusual naturalistic design of acorns and foliage. Very thick gauge cast silver. Contains 865 ml. Weight 519 grams, 16.6 troy ounces. Height 17 cm. Diameter 9.2 cm. Marked on the bottom rim with Indian silver marks for Hamilton & Co, Calcutta. Circa 1860. A very similar style of goblet was made in England during the 1860’s by John Samuel Hunt and retailed by ‘Hunt & Roskell Late Storr & Mortimer’.
