A very elegant antique sterling silver chalice with plain classical style, bead border and gilt bowl. To the front there is a very pretty hand engraved cartouche containing an armorial. Around the top rim there is a border of bright cut engraving. Weight 262 grams, 8.4 troy ounces. Height 15.5 cms. Diameter of top 8.75 cms. Contains 300 ml. London 1780. Makers mark rubbed.

A handsome antique silver beaker of tapering form. Excellent quality. Bright original gilt to the interior, outside rim and foot. The base is inset with a commemorative silver coin dated 1660. Hand engraved initials to the front in old fashioned script and to the reverse are some later initials. Heavy weight 251 grams, 8 troy ounces. Height 14.2 cm. Diameter 10.3 cm. Stamped on the edge of the base with Estonian silver marks for Jakob Ohrmann (I) of Reval. Circa 1780.

Elegant classical style with Campana urn form; the twin handles mounted with Bacchanalian face masks. The lift off cover has a finial in the form of a wrythen fluted flower seed with petal surround. Embossed to the front in low relief is a charming scene of horses relaxing and socialising.
