    A matching pair of early English antique silver muffineers from the early 1700 Queen Anne period. Britannia standard silver*. With baluster shape and the desirable octagonal panelled design. These lovely castors are of heavy quality and feel good in the hand. The pull off tops are prettily pierced and engraved. Each is hand engraved to the front with a nautical crest of a sea horse and anchor. Total weight 537 grams, 17.2 troy ounces. Height 17 cms. London 1712. Makers mark for Jonathan Newton.

    8571 Victorian 4 piece Silver Tea Set in the style of Edward Farrell

    An outstanding quality antique sterling silver tea service of gourd shape, depicting Teniers style Dutch tavern scenes. The sides are deeply chased in relief, the handles cast as drunken peasants perched on tree branches, the teapot and coffee pot with ivory insulators and drunken figure finials, original pale gilt interiors. The drunken revellers are drinking, playing music, playing cards, womanising; there is a mother and child, even a giant dog. Every scene is different. The teapot and milk jug a have Bacchus face mask mounted spout. This very heavy set weighs 4,024 grams, 129.3 troy ounces. Teapot height 19.5 cms, spread 26 cms.     An excellent Georgian sterling silver meat dish, or serving dish, of shaped oval form with an applied gadroon border. It’s very rare to find an antique dish like this still complete with its original mazerine strainer. Hand engraved to one side of the platter and to the centre of the strainer with a hand engraved armorial. Marked number 17, this platter has come from a very large and important dinner service.     Large and imposing. A substantial antique silver plated candelabra with 5 branches in Old Sheffield Plate. Very elegant plain style with a simple tapering column, curving branches and gadroon finish. The base is engraved with the crest of a horse to two sides. This candelabra is very versatile – it can be used with all 5 branches but also dismantles to make a single 2 branch candelabra. Also the base used as a candlestick.
